SANTIAGO.- Names continue to be added to the list of performances for the next International Song Festival in Viña del Mar. According statements made by organizers, the event has confirmed the participation of Puerto Rican singer, Chayanne.
Chayanne will return to the Quinta Vergara stage after having also performed in 2002. This time he will be supported by the success of his new album "Mi Tiempo".
The singer began his career as a solo artist in 1987, when he released his first, self-titled album. His career skyrocketed following the release of his second album, which included the hit "Este Ritmo Se Baila Así".
Chayanne's last appearance in Viña was marked by a double performance, after complications kept Rod Stewart from appearing on the last day of the festival.
In April of this year, the musician released his most recent album with the most popular song being "Si Nos Quedara Poco Tiempo". The video for the song was filmed on location in Chile at the Tunquén costal sanctuary.
