MEXICO.- Humberto Suazo's problematic situation has come to an unexpected end. The player will remain within the ranks of the Monterrey Rayados' for the closing of the Azteca Tournament.
Information published on the website www.mediotiempo.com states that Suazo's presence on the team goes beyond just being a part of the group; he has made a commitment to the team and is leaving behind the attitude and behavior that jeopardized his performance during his first semester in Mexico.
This was president of the Monterrey Rayados, Jorge Urdiales', way of renouncing the Chilean player's possible transfer to Argentine team Independiente. He also maintained that Suazo's renewed commitment will prove to be very productive for the institution.
Suazo himself confirmed the news and spoke with the Mexican press after practically not speaking to them at all since arriving in the country. "I was pretty laid-back about the situation, I was feeling better, I had a really good Pre-season, and I was content with the club, but now I am happy, itching for a rematch", he said.
