SANTIAGO.- Renowned U.S. scientist William A. Beckman is scheduled to arrive in Chile this month to give an interesting talk on solar energy.
The conference will take place on April 23rd at the Casa Piedra events center as part of the First International Clean and Renewable Energy Summit 09, and will speak about the applications of solar energy, as well as its long-term implications.
During the event, the creator of the chart method and TRNSYS software will delve into the importance of developing the use of clean and renewable energies for society as part of a sustainable development mechanism.
Beckman, who is the head of the Solar Energy Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin, has more than 20 years of experience in the field. The scientist has also published five books in several languages, as well as numerous articles in scientific magazines, and is known as the "father of solar energy".
