Copper recovers at the London Metal Exchange

Red metal increased by 0.84% to $3.12208 US dollars. As a result, the month long average moved back to $3.25580 US dollars and the yearlong average to $3.25580 US dollars.

LONDON.- Copper closed with an increase of 0.84% on Monday at the London Metal Exchange (LME) after trading for $3.12208 US dollars per pound of 'grade A', compared to $3.09600 Us dollars on Friday and $3.19828 on Thursday.


As a result, the month long average moved back to $3.25580 US dollars and the year long average to $3.25580 US dollars.


With regards to the future 3-month quote, it ended at $3.14748 US dollars per pound with a variation of +0,71% from Friday ($3.12525 US dollars).


At the LME, stocked rose by 1,275 metric tons, to 180, 925. So far this year, there has been an accumulated drop of 1,875 metric tons (-1.03%).
