WASHINGTON.- A strong seismic movement was felt early this morning in the Pacific Ocean, hundreds of kilometers from Chilean coasts.
Information received today from the United States Geological Institute reported that the earthquake had a magnitude of 6.3 degrees on the Richter scale.
According to information, the epicenter of the event was located 2,475 kilometers to the southwest of Santiago, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
It should be remembered that an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 on the Richter scale affected the north of the country on November 14th, bringing about victims and structural damage. Since this date, many aftershocks have been reported in the area.
