SANTIAGO.- Hugo Droguett's future has finally been decided upon in Mexico. The Chilean player will remain with Tecos for six months. This was how the teams Vice President, Carlos Leaño, broke the news after a meeting with the player's representative, Jorge Barrera.

"It was simply a matter of getting together to discuss things, Hugo (Droguett) also satisfied with the decision that was made and we are going to continue with him for six more months and then we'll find a place for him, either in Europe or on a Mexican team", explained the manager.

"He was a very important element in the last tournament and we couldn't have done without him. Hugo has understood this and agrees with the deal that was made, there was a pay raise and it was assured that he would join another team after finishing the 2008 Close", added Leaño.

Rodrigo Ruiz, another Chilean player for Tecos, is on the verge of leaving. He could go to Veracruz for an exchange with Alonso Sandoval.  According to the website mediotiempo.com, the Vice President of Tecos has not denied, nor confirmed this.
