River decides to begin talking to Claudio Borghi

BUENOS AIRES.- Héctor Caballero is the Pro-Treasurer and Director of the River Plate press commission. This was how he joined in the director's meeting for the team, during which the options available to replace resigned coach, Daniel Pasarella, were being discussed.

Caballero delivered a version of the issues being addressed to Emol, at least the part that includes Colo Colo coach, Claudio Borghi, as a main character.

"We have decided to begin talking to Claudio Borghi, to have preliminary contact via telephone in order to find out what his work plan is, his group of contributors, and see how it corresponds to what the club wants", he said from Buenos Aires.

Hector Caballero added that "the other candidates are Nery Pumpido and Diego Simeone", and explained that the names were not listed in any preferential order.

Finally, the Pro-Treasurer of the Argentine team also said "we hope to have this issue settled by the end of the week, or, at the very latest, by the beginning of next week".
