Copper falls 1.50% in London

Red metal has fallen to $3.04361 U.S. dollars resulting in a rebound of the monthly average to $3.02323 U.S. dollars, and a fall in the yearly average to $3.2455 U.S. dollars.

LONDON.- Copper closed with a 1.50% drop today at the London Metal Exchange (LME), after trading for $3.04361 U.S. dollars per pound of 'grade A', compared to $3.08987 U.S. dollars on Friday and $2.99825 U.S. dollars on Thursday.


As a result, the monthly average rebounded to $3.02323, while the yearly fell to $ 3.24555.


The future-3-month price ended at $ 3.09804 U.S. dollars per pound, down -0.61% from Friday ($3.11709 U.S. dollars).


At the LME, stocks decreased by 275 metric tons, to 188,475.  So far this year, a 5,675 MT (+3,10%) increase has been accumulated.
