Vidal assures "there are no irregularities" in the DOS

SANTIAGO.- Today, the Minister Secretary General of Government, Francisco Vidal, completely refuted the existence of possible financial irregularities within the Social Organizations Division (DOS), which is dependent upon his ministry, and assured that Director Francisco Estévez will be able to respond to all accusations made against him.

“It is an investigation (that has) seven or six accusations, the most important of which concerns the transfer funds that were not completely supported to civil organizations (...) the director tells me is that he is ready to respond to each of the investigation statements because there are no irregularities”, Vidal told Radio Cooperativa. 

Vidal spoke out against the Alianza´s attack concerning the matter, maintaining that the Comptroller’s Office is the entity in charge of determining whether financial irregularities exist and, as of now, there has not been any official report establishing the presence of financial anomalies within projects financed by the DOS.
