Young woman miraculously survives fall from fifth floor in Las Condes

SANTIAGO.- An 18 year old girl miraculously went unharmed this morning after falling from the fifth floor of a building located in the municipality of Las Condes.

For reasons that are still under investigation, Ignacia Sáez, plummeted from a height of approximately 20 meters.

The incident took place at the Sidepa condominium complex, located on Calle La Gloria in the aforementioned municipality.

The young woman suffered only minor injuries thanks to the numerous bushes located in the area, which helped to cushion her fall.

Sáez was taken to the emergency room at the Salvador Hospital and has been listed in stable condition.

Although the exact cause of the accident is still unknown, officials have confirmed that the woman had been consuming alcohol prior to the fall.
