SANTIAGO.- Just as promised, the motion of no confidence against Deputy Karla Rubilar (RN) as President of the Human Rights Commission was brought forth today. The motion is in response to a report that the Deputy made about three supposed cases of falsely disappeared persons.
The measure of no confidence was requested by Deputy Sergio Aguiló (PS) after the commission received a visit from Undersecretary of the Interior, Patricio Rosende, who refuted the information presented by Rubilar.
The motion will be voted on in the next session of the case, unless Deputy Rubilar decides to resign first, as has been called for by some legislators.
