SANTIAGO.- An inventory of more than six thousand falsified movies valued at some 50 million pesos was seized today by Police officials in an operative carried out on paseo San Agustín.

As was reported by Radio Cooperativa, the Police Investigative Unit of the Eastern Prefecture arrived at the "Librería Goya", address number 58 of the aforementioned street, where they found the "pirated" films that reportedly had color labels and were high quality copies.

The discovery of the illegal business was possible thanks to a complaint filed by a representative of the Association of Video Distributors.

In the proceedings the owner of the business was arrested, identified as 34 year old Jaime Olivos Núñez. He was then taken to his home, accompanied by police, where the officers seized more videos, computers, DVD players, printers and a false battle rifle.

Olivos was arrested for violation of the Intellectual Property Law.
