As a result, the monthly average rose to US$ 1.47611 and the annual average to US$ 1.46332.
Meanwhile, the future 3-month price quote ended at US$ 1.53813 per pound, up 0.03% from Wednesday (US$ 1.53768).
At the LME, stocks increased by 2,650 metric tons to 499,950. So far this year, copper has registered a cumulative increase of 162,825 MT (+47.92%).
