SANTIAGO.- Artistic montages always attempt to surprise the viewer and galleries usually put together creative, attention-grabbing expositions. Regardless, originality is being taken to the extreme this 13th of February at the opening of the "Retratos de Zapallar" exhibit, a photography display that is being installed on the treetops of the Parque La Paz, located in the main city of the Fifth Region.
The creative photography exposition is free of charge and has Zapallar and its people as protagonists, captured by the cameras of Martín García de la Huerta and Mike Mabes.
The 15 photographs are of ample size and will be mounted against frames anchored to the trunks of the trees in the Parque de la Paz, a public space that is also known as Bosque Zapallar.
This exhibition is part of the initiative of the Centro Mori and the Banco Penta, who have the objective of using public spaces for artistic activities that interact with the natural surroundings, a model that has already been successful in other countries.
