SANTIAGO.- The Universidad de Chile soccer team has arrived in Brazil. The players, led by Sergio Markarían arrived in Porto Alegre to play their first match of the group phase of the Copa Libertadores tournament.

The team will go up against Gremio tomorrow at 9:50 PM in group 7 of the continental championship.

The squad is confidently facing the challenge, especially following their performance in the local and pre-libertadores tournaments.

"Obviously, we are going to play with our teeth clenched. They are a great team and historically they have always been difficult to overcome; and we somehow or another have to break their spell and score at least one point", José Rojas told Radio Cooperativa.

The Universidad de Chile has this morning to rest, but will begin training this afternoon, when the coach will confirm the eleven starter players that will take the field for the match.
