ENGLAND.- In the thick of the Indian Wells Masters Series, the number two and three players in Chile, Paul Capedeville and Nicolás Massú, respectively, have registered advances in the new ATP ranking.
While Capedeville moved up two positions to ATP Nº 91, Viña del Mar native Massú managed to jump 3 slots to ATP Nº 95.
Meanwhile, Fernando González remains at ATP Nº 17 in the world, awaiting his upcoming confrontation with US player James Blake.
It is worth noting that Capedeville was not selected to play at the U.S. tournament, while Massú fell during the second round to Russian player Marat Safin.
