Víctor Hugo Castañeda: "I am not playing against Musrri, I am playing against Palestino"

SANTIAGO.- Deportes La Serena has just recently confirmed its eleven-player starting lineup for the confrontation with Palestino tomorrow at 7:00 pm at the La Portada stadium as part of the Apertura tournament.

Nigerian national Ekele Udojoh recently joined the La Serena squadron just 45 days ago and will participate tomorrow as a substitute.

La Serena coach Víctor Hugo Castañeda wished to clarify the nature of the upcoming match against the team led by his friend and former Universidad de Chile teammate, Luis Musrri, whose team he has not been able to defeat at any of the three previous encounters between the two.

"I am not playing against Musrri, I am playing against Palestino. For me this club is special because I was born there, I played for 10 years, the last name Castañeda holds significance with Palestino", stated the coach.

"So, there is always going to be a special connotation with matches that are against a coach that is a friend, we were teammates for many years and we went through a lot of important experiences together, on the U as well as on the national team, but here it is about winning and that is what we are focused on", added Castañeda.
