SANTIAGO.- Colo Colo is scheduled to go up against Liga Deportiva Universitaria tomorrow during their fourth match as part of the group phase of the Copa Libertadores de América tournament.
Though a win would calm spirits and unite the team, Colo Colo will be facing a team that continues to speak of "a second go" following the 3-0 defeat by Colo Colo in Santiago.
During a private practice session, the coach of the Ecuadorian team, Jorge Fossati, already defined the starting lineup that will face Colo Colo. According to the Ecuadorian press, the team's plan is to attack during the first few minutes to "cut off Macnelly Torres' game".
Fossati, who is Uruguayan, held the practice session at the Ponciano Stadium, where tomorrow's match will take place at 3:00 P.M. local time (4:00 P.M. Chilean time).
According to the coach, the team will put its best players up against Barticiotto's squadron, including Argentine nationals Damián Manso and Claudio Bieler, who were not present at the local tournament last weekend.
Fossati has said that Colo Colo plays at its best "when they have the ball in their power and they are explosive on the way out". "At yesterday's practice, he notably focused on side attacks and keeping possession of the ball", asserted newspapers in Quito.
