LAN once again voted best airline in South America

SANTIAGO.- LAN was once again chosen as the best South American airline company according to a study carried out by the English market investigation firm SkyTrax.

Distinctions were handed out in 34 categories as part of the "World Airline Awards", held in Hamburg, where the best airlines according to passengers worldwide are recognized.

This is the largest global customer airline poll, comprising interviews with more than 16 million people from 95 different nationalities.

The study measured various aspects related to passenger satisfaction regarding product and service standards for each company as a way of evaluating traveler experiences.

"We are really proud to have once again received this important distinction, which reflects the opinion of passengers from all over the world. Their preference is the best incentive to continue making the daily effort to provide an outstanding and consistent service of excellence in order to offer our passengers the best possible travel experience", stated Armando Valdivieso, who is the general manager of the LAN passenger department.
