SANTIAGO.- The head of the bench of PS deputies, Marcelo Díaz, has voiced his utmost support for the "style" in which presidential candidate for the Concertación, Eduardo Frei has designed his executive campaign committee.
According to Díaz, the team- headed by 27 year-old independent sociologist Sebastián Bowen- possesses a "stamp of the future".
"Frei has assumed the challenge of renovation, he has taken care of telling the nation that he is looking towards the future and not the Chile of the past", declared Díaz.
According to the PS deputy, the team is one that "is mobilizing energy to seek a triumph in December".
The deputy also stated that, with the confirmation of his committee, Frei is also sending a very strong political signal "not only to the Concertación, but also to the right wing, it is time for a new generation and for the internal management of parties to generate important transformations in leadership".
