SANTIAGO.- Chilean singer-songwriter Fernando Nano Stern has returned to Chile to launch his third album during an intimate performance scheduled for May 31st at the Teatro Oriente. The musician has just come off a tour through Australia, where he has emerged as an up-and-coming name in folk music.
The singer's new album, "Los espejos", was produced independently by La Clave and is his third musical release following "Nano Stern" (2006) and "Voy y vuelvo" (2007). With his two previous albums, the performer had made a name for himself as part of a new community of singer-songwriters, along with Gepe, Leo Quinteros, María Perlita, Fernando Milagros and Chinoy, amongst others.
Nano Stern has developed a strong career in Europe, where he has held several open tours, and has now returned to Chile from Australia, where he participated in a series of festivals and received positive reviews, as well as a warm welcome from the public.
In addition to his repertoire that has yet to be heard in Chile, Stern plans to perform other hits that surprised the public due to their poetic and musical nature, such as "Necesito una canción", "Un gran regalo", "Casualidad" or "Dos cantores".
After his concert at the Teatro Oriente, Stern will begin a new live tour through Chile and Latin America.
