SANTIAGO.- Chilean pianist Michio Nishihara Toro will begin a tour through several European countries with a concert at St. Martin in the Fields, in London.
The pianist will also perform on two other London stages, holding a performance on April 22 at Goodenough College and another on April 23 at Regent's College. Nishihara will then travel to Germany to perform on April 30 and May 14 at the Christophori Piano Salon in Berlin.
After Germany, the musician will make his way to Poland, where he will offer concerts on May 21 at the Szkoly im. Zelenskiero Concert Hall in Krakow.
On May 26, Nishihara Toro will be in France to perform at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Amphitheatre in Strasbourg. The tour will end on June 2 in Poland, with a performance at the Lazienki Krolewskie Concert Hall in Warsaw.
At his concerts, Michio Nishihara Toro will perform a repertoire that includes the Symphonic Studies of Schumann, Haendel de Brahms Variations, Sonnets of Beethoven, pieces by Chopin and Liszt, music by Spanish and impressionist composers, written by Chileans Pedro Humberto Allende and Enrique Soro, as well as new releases from Canadian Jean Chatillon and the young Mexican composer Leticia Cuen.
