SANTIAGO.-  After a fervent operation carried out by the 47th Police Station in Los Dominicos, officers were able to capture one of the four suspects, identified as 24 year-old Héctor Gabriel Iturriera Moraga, accused of robbing a home in the municipality of Las Condes.  The suspect was carrying a 38-caliber Smith and Wason revolver, which had been taken from the home along with other items.

The thieves entered the residence armed with knives, which they used to threaten the homeowner’s daughter and housekeeper.

Among the items stolen from the home were two cellular phones, three luxury watches, $500,000 pesos in cash, as well as jewelry (the value of which has not yet been appraised).

The homeowner’s son was also in the house at the time of the robbery, but managed to escape to the yard through his bedroom window and alert neighbors.

Police are currently carrying out an investigation in search of the remainder of the suspects.
