Central Bank extends application period for TDLC positions

The Council has decided to extend the deadline for applications that will be accepted in the process of public tender until March 31st at 6:00 PM.

SANTIAGO. -  The Central Bank Council has agreed to prolong the application period of public tender for positions in the Free (Market) Competition Defense Court known as the TDLC (Tribunal de la Defensa de la Libre Competencia).


The application process was held between February 22nd and March 17th of this year to yield candidates in groups of three, who will be recommended to the President of the Republic as possible choices for the appointment of two new ministers (a lawyer and  an economist) and two second reserve ministers (a lawyer and an economist) for the TDLC.  The positions have become available due to the fact that the legal term of current ministers will end on May 12th of this year. 


The Council has decided to extend the deadline for applications that will be accepted in the process of public tender, moving the final deadline to March 31st at 6:00 PM. 


The agreement reached by the Council also allows those who have applied solely to the position of primary minister to apply for the position of second reserve minister within the extended application period.
