SANTIAGO.- DC Deputy Pablo Lorenzini has maintained that the sub secretary of Public Health Networks, Ricardo Fábrega, should make his position available following the public health crisis and the case of the Curepto Hospital, which was opened without having adequate medical equipment.

“Those outside Santiago always go, which is why Ricardo Fábrga should at least make his position available or apologize (...) because, if Fábrega really wasn’t aware, he is not fit to serve as an alternate minister”, Lorenzini stated during a conversation on Radio Agricultura.

The DC deputy harshly added, “Mr. Fábrega shouldn’t go hiding himself under other people’s skirts (...) and let’s see if (government spokesperson) Francisco Vidal takes charge and announces measures to be taken”.

Lorenzini also called on Minister Vidal to remove the high-standing presidential members from their positions.

Additionally, the deputy applauded the attitude of the Director of Maule, “who had nothing to do with the matter, but he went and took responsibility, just like President Michelle Bachelet, who “made an apology”.
