Bolivian national soccer team comes together less than a week before confronting Chile

According to reports, the Bolivian coach, Erwin Sánchez, will begin to shape the team set the face "la Roja".

LA PAZ.- Defense player Ronald Raldes was added to his country’s national team this Monday, completing the squad that is currently training in La Paz for their home match against Chile on Sunday to kick off the South American qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.


“I am here to be part of the team, I am very excited and optimistic about a victory”, Raldes told reporters today before entering the hotel where he will begin preparations with a routine medical check-up.


The Bolivian national team will face Chile on Sunday, June 15th, and will then go up against Paraguay at the Hernando Siles Stadium in La Paz, which is located at an altitude of 3,577 meters above sea level.


Raldes confirmed that he had played his last match  as part of the Argentine club Rosario Central last weekend (at the end of a 5 year contract) and assured that he would be evaluating offers to play abroad following the matches against Chile and Paraguay.
