As a result, the monthly average climbed to US$ 1.50174, while the yearly average increased to US$ 1.48029.
Meanwhile, the future 3-month price quote ended at US$ 1.57215 per pound, up 2.24% from Wednesday (US$ 1.53768).
At the LME, stocks decreased by 2,925 metric tons to 545,475. So far this year, there has been an accumulated increase of 205,700 MT (+60.54%).
