SANTIAGO.- In July of 2007, after having participated in the Copa América as part of the national soccer team coached by Nelson Acosta, José Luis Carión was chosen as a new player for Colo Colo.

The winger arrived with a great deal of promise to the club, which was led by Claudio Borghi at the time. Nevertheless, the former Melipilla player was not convincing enough and was forced to look to new horizons after a year.

Everton became the player's new home, where he was coached by the same trainer that had chosen him for the national team: Nelson Acosta.

After spending a year with the Viña del Mar club and participating in the Apertura tournament, the player will once again have to change teams.

This new development comes despite information that the San Antonio-loaned player was supposed to end his contract with the club in 2009. "He will not continue to play with us, there was a misunderstanding between the player's manager and Colo Colo, so he is going to be training with us until the matter is resolved", stated the athletic director for Everton, Waldo Silva.

Silva tried to explain that Cabión's departure was not related to football matters, but rather had to do with "a budget issue".
